Recognizing Achievement

Recognizing the Change in the World

One of the most important member benefits at OnBoard is the public recognition of achievement in the advancement of the mission of the organization.

OnBoard honors and celebrates achievement with two different awards – The Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans Award and the Executive Leadership Honor Roll. Both awards are intended to pay tribute to the winners, present role models and provide inspiration to others.

Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans Award

The Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans Award, started in 2003, is awarded to the woman board member who has served as an outstanding role model for advancing the mission of increasing the number of women in executive leadership and on corporate boards.

The award is named in honor of Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans, one of the first women to serve as a director of a major American corporation.  In 1934 she was appointed to the board of directors of The Coca-Cola Company, a position she held for nearly 20 years. More on the award.

Executive Leadership Honor Roll

The Executive Leadership Honor Roll, debuting in 2007, is awarded annually to Georgia based women leaders to highlight OnBoard’s mission to increase the number of women in executive leadership. More on the Honor Roll.
