Cheri Husney, president of OnBoard presented the results of the 2018 study. Last year OnBoard called out what seemed to be new momentum in the increasing number of “Power of 3” companies, those with three or more women on the board. This year Cheri noted that this momentum continues with the major statistics increasing more than is the usual trend year over year. She called it “Leaping Forward”. For instance the number of Georgia companies that have women on their board increased by 13% over last year 60.5 % to 68.3%. She also noted that The Coca-Cola Company increased to 5 women on the board, more than any other company in Georgia. More details can be found in the Study Brochure.
