Alexis is a Management Liability Broker at Aon Risk Services in Atlanta. As a colleague of one of the largest risk consulting firms in the world, she is dedicated to advising and providing solutions that give her clients clarity and confidence to make better decisions to protect and grow their businesses. Alexis graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance. During her time at UGA, she also pursued certifications in Professionalism, Workforce Diversity, and Legal Studies. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and giving back to her community as much as possible both individually and as a member of her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Sheena Khawaja

Sheena Khawaja is a commercial real estate and finance attorney in Atlanta, Georgia, with a passion for service, leadership, and networking, especially for the benefit of underrepresented communities. In her role as an attorney, she advises people and businesses on the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial properties and counsels institutional lenders and investors in financing matters. As an advocate for service, Sheena is active in several local and national bar associations, including as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Bar Association, a Member-at-Large for the Women in the Profession Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, a Past-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia, and as a member of other voluntary bar organizations. In her spare time, Sheena offers mentorship for diverse law students and junior attorneys and enjoys participating in events and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across professions.

Angela Hong Sones is a Partner at Bell Oaks and draws on her diverse background in media and communications to craft compelling narratives showcasing her clients’ unique stories to match them with candidates who share their vision.

Before joining Bell Oaks, Angela was the Director of Strategy and Narrative at InterContinental Hotel Group and consulted senior-level executives on how to turn the organization’s vision and priorities into engaging and persuasive messaging. Prior to IHG, Angela led corporate communications for Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 automotive retail company, and also has experience in the healthcare, food service, advertising, and media industries.

Angela earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from Emory University. She also graduated from Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business Executive MBA program with a concentration in Global Business. Angela is a Board Member for Next OnBoard, an organization that aims to empower early and mid-career women on their journey to senior leadership. Angela is an Atlanta-area native who grew up in Duluth and now lives in East Cobb with her husband and daughter.

Caroline is a Product Innovation Manager supporting the Digital Access Program at UPS. In her role, she supports ideation and development of new technological capabilities to enable the program’s continued growth and global expansion. Caroline completed her undergraduate education at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and holds an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. Caroline serves on the leadership team of UPS’s women’s employee resource group, which supports development and advancement of women leaders within the company, and is an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys running, gardening, and cooking.

Born and raised in Valdosta, GA, Leigh obtained her BBA from the University of Georgia and migrated to Atlanta to begin her professional career. After roles in operations, recruiting, and project management, she currently works in Mergers & Acquisitions at Core & Main. Leigh is passionate about career growth and networking, which has led her to serve in several leadership roles in organizations around Atlanta. A member of Next Onboard for 4 years, Leigh has served as the Events Chair-Elect, Membership Chair-Elect, and currently serves as the Membership Chair and Governance Chair-Elect.

In her personal life, Leigh enjoys creating events to gather friends, spending time with family, traveling, and playing pickleball.

With a rich background in public relations and strategic brand communication, Melodi Erdogan Brown is a seasoned professional with experience across a wide range of diverse industries. Currently serving as the Brand Public Relations Manager at GoTo Foods, she executes impactful PR campaigns for renowned restaurant category brands such as McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Schlotzsky’s. Formerly, she held PR roles at global retail brand Spanx and top accounting firm, Aprio, LLP. Melodi is recognized for innovative thinking and strategic execution, consistently contributing to increased brand awareness and positive business relationships.

Tabitha Perez is an Associate Director and Leadership Advisor at The Siegfried Group, where she helps her clients accounting and finance teams accomplish their most important projects while providing time and space to be thoughtful and reflective about what they are doing and why.

 

Prior to her time at Siegfried, Tabitha was at Ernst & Young and the Gates Corporation in various accounting and finance roles. Tabitha enjoys spending time with her husband and son (often traveling around the globe!), building relationships throughout the Atlanta community, and walking the beltline with friends on the weekend.

Tiffany is a passionate problem solver with a history of driving impactful M&A projects in the life sciences and telecom sectors. Armed with a knack for guiding technology teams and spearheading strategic initiatives, she achieved notable results in senior management roles at Cox Communications and PwC, specializing in Cyber, Risk Management, and Technology Modernization.

These experiences paved the way for her current roles as Chief Accessibility Advocate and Founder in Residence at LEXi, a Series A-funded, ed-tech startup empowering dyslexic learners through machine-learning technology. In addition to supporting potential and new members of Next Onboard Inc., she serves as an Associate Board Member for Georgia’s Make-A-Wish Young Professionals and Gift of Adoption Georgia, driven by her commitment to addressing rural education and public health challenges.

With a B.S. in Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University and credentials across regulatory affairs, quality auditing, and risk management, Tiffany hydrates teams with a unique blend of analytical focus and practical expertise. Her dedication to technology research and health advocacy underscores her commitment to tackling regional challenges and advancing technology for diverse populations.

Amil is a Financial Technology Consultant who uses her passion, skill, and experience to tell the stories of her multi-million dollar Platinum Government and Public Sector clients. She specializes in Project Management, Organizational Readiness/Transformation and Agile Scrum Transformation. She has led multiple successful Finance and Technology Optimization projects through implementation over several years and has been awarded internally in 2024 for exemplary client delivery. When Amil is out of the office, she enjoys golfing, hiking, and mentoring other young women interested in being fierce change agents.

Director of Global Enterprise Accounts – UPS

Kathryn Cosgrove is a Director of Global Enterprise Accounts at UPS, managing one of UPS’s top five customers.

Prior to Kathryn’s current role, she worked with UPS’s SMB customers as an Inside Sales Representative in San Antonio, Account Executive in Indianapolis, Senior Account Executive in Atlanta, and Enterprise Account Manager in the Northeast. Kathryn was a student athlete at the University of Tennessee, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Therapeutic Recreation and holds an MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from Mercer University. Kathryn serves on the leadership team of UPS’s women’s employee resource group, which supports development and advancement of women leaders within the company. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, cooking, and traveling!
